Don’t know why the ending is so sudden! Basically I had some idea that the room represents the life that we make for our selves and the pipes and wires are the foundations (our philosophy). The process of making something is about shaking our foundations (challenging what we really believe) and this can feel like our current world might be destroyed. Something dies, something is reborn, and life goes on slightly differently. But in the film I don’t really show the rebirth, I just showed the destruction and continuation.

Technique

Puppet animation using 3ft puppets of wood and animation wire.
